Steady breaks the jobs down into job types and job categories to filter the hustle gigs to make it easy for you to find jobs that fit your situation.

Job Types

The Steady app breaks jobs down into four different job types with an option to filter the jobs even further with “Remote/Work from home jobs.”

The four job types are:

Full-time jobs- These include traditional jobs – the W-2 jobs.
Part-time job includes traditional jobs; it will also include rideshare jobs and some other side hustle jobs.
Work from home – includes side hustles like Rover, freelancing, tutoring, proofreading, etc.

I downloaded the Steady app to my phone and did the sign up, and here are some of the jobs we found in our area to earn money.

In the Gigs job type, I found the usual rideshare and delivery jobs that you would drive for a gig economy job. These jobs included DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Instacart Delivery.

We found some other gig jobs in our job search- Subtitle Transcriber, Certified Tutor, Virtual Transcription, and freelance writing jobs.

We found one job in the Full/Part-Time Job Types that surprised us. Believe it or not, there was a traveling Physical Therapist job posted in our town.
